This morning, on my way to work. I passed a truck parked on the street with a "W" sticker on it (as in our current monkey in office) and a McCain / Palin sticker on the bumper.
It just amazes me that this is still an option. It amazes me that there is a chance of a McCain White House.
Haven't these last 8 years been enough? We're in a war that we can't get out of. Our dollar isn't worth a damn, and the economy in general is in the shitter and sliding ever deeper. But I'm sure that we can all argue that it's not the White House's fault. There are people who argue with me that the war in Iraq has made the world safer. We are defending ourselves against terrorism.
It's just not the case. You guys know we have troops in Afghanistan too, right? You know that we're not doing well on either front, right?
Even if Obama makes it into the White House, he is walking in to one of the biggest messes in American History. Whoever walks in will have a tough road ahead of them.
On another note, I got a piece of mail the other day : Obsession: Radical Islam's War Against the West.
I didn't know we could send hate Propaganda through the mail. I thought that was illegal. I noticed quickly that is was mailed and put into papers mainly in the "swing states". Let's get people good and afraid so that they vote Republican.
You know who's on my nerves these days? The Fundamentalist Christians. Want to talk about someone who causes a hell of a lot more harm than good. As much as some people would like, the United States of America is not a Christian Country. Nor should it EVER be. It is a country for the people. Muslim, Jewish, Hindu, Christian, Atheist, Agnostic shouldn't matter two shakes.
I'm sorry to say, but we DESERVE what we get down the road. People who want to kill other people in the name of Christianity are no different from those who want to kill in the name of Islam.
I think I was more upset that this ruined my bike ride to work than anything else. But then I passed my friend Jeremy on his motorcycle. I raised my hand and waived. He did the same. That's why I'm here.
I like my little island. I'll go out and vote. Some of the rest of the people in this country can go fuck themselves.

At least you're not still in Ga where every other car has a W sticker on it and a McCain/Palin sticker. Ugh. I've got my Obama magnet on my car and I just ordered 2 more. I can't wait to get them!

Becky, there is a reason I don't live in Georgia anymore. Got a little tired of racist, narrow minded rednecks.
