So I'm getting ready to visit the state of North Dakota in just two weeks to visit my in laws and meet my niece and nephew. I met my niece once, but she was just a baby, so this is pretty cool.
I need off the rock I think. Sometimes you just need to step away from home to bring things into perspective.
Been a little funky recently (down in the dumps funky, not Bootsy Collins funky). It's not that I don't appreciate my life. I realize I have it better that %90 of the people on the planet. I just get a little overwhelmed.
And normally at a job, shit flows down hill. I should be safe. I'm the boss, right?
Well, it seems that shit flows uphill in Key West.
