Hot dogs and Fireworks ...

Sorry about yesterday's heavily political post. I had just received a newsletter from our Congresswoman that just pissed me off. I just don't understand how we can sit here and say that we honor our troops fighting for us. We don't honor them. He have done them a grave dishonor by sending them over there to fight to fill the gas tanks of our SUVs. To honor them would be to bring them home. Restore a government we can believe in and give them the care and respect that they deserve.

But I digress...

Tonight I'm firing up the grill and making some hot dogs, watching some fireworks, and having an ice cold Pabst Blue Ribbon (How American of a Beer can ya get?!) Maybe I'll wash it down with a Bass ale an let them fight it out in my belly.

I wish everyone out there to have a happy holiday. Be safe, Booze It up, but just get some poor unlucky designated driver bastard to drive you home.

Oh, Landon- I so agreed with this post and yesterdays. The thing that makes me the most mad is when right wing people insinuate that since we don't support the war, we don't support the troops. (shakes head) Happy 4th of July to you- we are going to my parents, grilling steaks & watching the fireworks at RHS. I'll have a Blue Moon for you. :)

We had a great 4th - thankfull that you won the war of independance.

Otherwise... well, there are so many of you and so few of us Brits that if we were all one nation we might have Bush as the President of the UK!

Just remember - whatever you do you'll always be our little colony in the west.
