Ok, at one point I had mentioned the 48 Hour Film Compitition. I have been shopping this around a little bit. Just seeing if folks would be interested. A friend of mine said that the Key West Film Society might be interested. That would be very cool. He said they couldn't give me any money, but could show the films and help promote it. That's exactly what I need. Of course now I am terrified, because I was just planning this to be a little thing, now it may grow into a bit of a monster. But I figure, what the hell. As many of you know, it's hard for me to get off my ass and make a movie. This is for all of those folks down here in Key West who have the means, but not the motivation to get out there and make something happen. Even better, make it happen in 48 Hours. Writing, Shooting, Editing, all of it, Complete Film in 48 Hours.
Anyone have thoughts on this one?
I found some rules for ones that other people have done. I'll revamp those and drop them here to see what you guys think.
Damn the man, make a film.
